The National Science Foundation (NSF) invites small business firms to submit research proposals under this Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Solicitation. NSF has formulated broad solicitation topics which include Biological and Chemical Technologies (BC); Education Applications (EA); Electronics, Information and Communication Technologies (EI); and Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, and Manufacturing (NM). Within these topics areas specific focus areas include Renewable Fuels and Energy; Energy Storage Management and Use; and Materials for Energy Applications.
