Do You Know the Signs of Bowel Cancer?

My dad had his bowel cancer screening last January since he reached the age for screening in the UK (his test came back fine).

The adverts about bowel cancer?in the United Kingdom?are shown on television and even on buses... things to look out for, what could be possible signs bowel cancer... which is a good thing, and could save lives.?

Not sure how other countries do cancer advertisements, since when we go to different countries on holiday we only watch a little bit of television in our hotel room!

A couple of months ago I had abdomen pains and went to the doctor who felt around my stomach/abdomen?area and did a rectal exam, even though I was only 28 at the time (with no family history of bowel cancer, or other cancers etc). It was important to get it checked out, even though it's rare for people my age, it was not worth ignoring the symptoms.

After seeing three different?doctors at same?practice,?she sent me for an ultrasound to see whether there was a problem with my abdomen or other organs (the test came back fine).

Do you know the symptoms or possible signs for bowel cancer? Do you know anyone with bowel cancer?
